Hey guys,
Well I have a 98 Civic LX, had a D167y now D16ZC implant. I had the Automatic tranny rebuilt.... Now I've put on some 4-2-1 headers, a Magnaflow Cat for a DX so It's under the car, replaced the O2 sensors with Denso's both up and downstreams. K&N filter in the factory D167Y styled throttle body.. I never bothered with the ZC injectors, rail, and throttle body, I'm no plumbing expert that's for sure.

Well onto this tranny, I'm not beefing the motor up more than 8lbs boost in the future, are there any recommendations I can do on the tranny or is it a tranny swap and peddle fun?
I'll post pics, new front and rear covers with side skirts and a new paint job.... :cool:

There's nothing you can do with those transmissions. Swap in a manual and call it a day.

PLENTY can be done with the slushboxes...but it is a waste of time and money.

Boost safely, keep the fluid maintenance up to date, tranny cooler and just prepare to replace the tranny again. Oh a performance torque converter can help.
