98 auto civic stalls when put in gear
i never really played with autos in the past, but from what i can gather it might be the TCC (which in honda speak is code for get a new tranny i assume)
It has no CEL's.
runs/idles/revs great in park or neutral
stalls immediately when put into reverse or drive from either P or N
any tips? hints? clues?
i know on old cars (early 90's) you can actually just unplug the "lock-up" and it will drive. Albeit, at the expense of your fuel economy. Is it the same with this model? I'd like to know mainly so i wont have to tow it.
thanks in advance fellas
