Will improper alignment damage ball joints / tie rods?
If a car is out of alignment, driving at highway speeds there is a lot of rapid movement in the front wheels. It seems like this would be putting a lot of stress on the ball joints and tie rod ends, maybe even the steering rack. Would it result in rapid wear of these components (assuming they were good to begin with)?

Can't align yet because I'm still waiting for my inner tie rods to arrive. Meanwhile I've got new lower ball joints and outer tie rod ends, and I'm shitting eggrolls in anticipation of them taking a beating before I get it all right and aligned. The streets of cleveland are probably in worse shape than iraq during operation iraqui freedom. These potholes are so big they could almost swallow an entire car.
