Transmission Spline Pattern in 88-91 EF's ??
Quick tekkie question:
Can you list the spline pattern of the EF trannies for EX & Si in the 88-91 years?
Trying to figure out differences as we have a mismatch.
Can EX and Si trannies of the same year come with different spline counts?
I thought that 88-89 had fewer and 90-91 more, but is it possible that both spline patterns used in 90-91?

89-91 are the same, 88 is different. Only difference between 89 and the 90-91 is the clutch disk had a smaller diameter in 89, but spline count was the same.

Seems to me the Pressure plate differs from 90-91 and 89. Parts store gave us a 91 Clutch and PP, tried to install it into an 89 CRX Si and the PP wouldnt line up with the pegs.
