Tires...and your opnions on them
well its time for me to buy some new tires, currently i have some dunlop sp sport 9000's and dont get me wrong they were decent but in dry weather the lacked now and there...i was wondering if anyone had any input on tires my size is currently 195-55-r15 and its on a stock 95 gsr rim so i have a little flexiblbility i think 205-50-15 fits and 205-45-15 fit also im not positive...but any experiences w/ other brand etc....all opnions are greatly aprreciated, and btw im looking to spend no more than say 120 a piece shipped.

i was looking into the Yokohama AVS ES100...dirt cheap and heard some decent stuff on them or some Bridgestone Potenza RE750's little pricer but...better wear rating

You'll certainly get good performance out of the Azenis.
I wouldn't say that they last a while, but you can just about get two sets for what you want to spend, and two sets should last you a decent while.

I am also running Dunlop SP9000 (195x45x16@2.6 bar) and my opinion is that the tyre is to soft... when steering into a corner it feels like the tyre is beeing deformed first before turning...
But then again my bushings are being replaced after 12 years that might be helpfull :D

sidewall flex is what it sounds like, azenis have a nice stiff sidewall! good tire, just in the rain dont mess around and just drive safetly kuz they're not all that great in the wet

I have toyo t1 proxes. Why? No sound deadening material = noise. Most quiet tires i've ever heard = t1 proxes Oh, don't do too bad on the handling either

Replaced my beloved A520s with the new ES100s, and I'm satisfied so far

seems like its a clear cut choice....either the yokohama's es100's or the azenis...hmm such a tough choice, i like the fact that the yokohamas have a little btter wear rating of 280, but everyone says the azenis are so nice for dry traction....dam these tire companies and making my decisions hard
