i've been calling them Junkworks since before there was a Junk2.
to stay on topic-i think it'll most likely come down to a matter of using race parts to build a race engine-no warranty.hard to say who's fault it is when nobody can totally prove the quality of the parts and workmanship or how hard it was driven-everybody can just point the finger at somebody else.sucks,but good luck getting as much back out of it as you can.

It's funny how the valve stem broke. It looks like a clean break to me, plus the way the break was described sounds like a bad part. I would think that if another part failed and caused the valve to party with the piston, the valve would have been mangled. Also this sounds like typical CS from a large company. Ignore you and pass you from person to person until you give up. Keep after them and take them to court if you have too. **** them, it sucks they won't help you at all.

either way...you concider that fully built?...not trying to diss on you or anything...just a question...and it does look like P72...butttt could have been cuz of the scrapes. either way...good luck with skunk2, this post has turned me away from them just because of their bad customer service. sorry dude. hope everything goes well

It's alright bro no harm no foul. There are alot of things that InlineFour and I planned out when building this motor and I understand lot of people won't believe how much money was spent in building it but it's ok you don't have to believe it I got the receipts to prove it. Just a question, who did you, actually purchase the valves from? Inline 4, portflow, skunk, the internet? That is whose warranty you should be checking.

I bought the valves through InlineFour but this problem is a manufacture's defect so it shouldn't concern them.

Actually it does, you need to go thru Inline 4, and they need to go to Skunk, as Skunk did not sell the items to you or install them.

I did ask InlineFour and showed them my head also and they told me to contact Skunk2. They also contacted Skunk2 about it and Skunk's reply to them was that they will contact me regarding this situation. No word from Skunk at all even till now.

Sorry to hear about your engine. Honestly, I doubt Skunk will ever own up to anything. They'll probably just find a way to blame it on you or install error. I had a conflict with a VERY, VERY popular clutch maker about their crappy product on HT a while back and it took over a year to get it settled. They ACTed like it was my fault and tried to blame me untill a few other members had the exact same problem. When all was done and said, the only thing they would do it give me a newly redesigned one at cost, which was still damn expensive. Don't expect too much from them, you'll be lucky if they give you 1 valve for the one that snapped.
