Oil pump stamping
Hey guys
So I have a quick question I just picked up a b18a1 block to build Lsv the guy that I bought it from gave me 2 oil pumps.. 1 is stamped with a 4 and the other is stamped 5... Does this mean anything to anyone? I was told one of the pumps were either ctr itr or gsr.. Does anyone know for a fact what the stampings mean?

Re: Oil pump stamping
might not mean anything but i look for the thunderbird? image, a theory of mine
small on the back-obd 0 pr4
small on the front obd 1 pr4
big on front- obd 2 p72
those stamps are only my experience with 3 known pumps, obd0 ls, obd1 b16, obd2 ls.
i got the pr4, p72 from acuraautomotiveparts.org. i only look for p72 obd 2 pumps.
i thinking now rod bolt stretch not oil starvation
