Default How much is too much? Head milling: B18C1

I needed to resurface my head because it was warped, but the head was already previously milled .007". And the shop said they'd take off another .004-.005". So my question is, is that too much taken off, and run the risk of piston to valve contact? Some things I should mention, I will be/am using:

Cometic .030" Headgasket
JDM ITR Pistons
ITR Dual Valvesprings
Titanium Retainers
Skunk2 Valves
'96 Spec ITR Cams

agreed to claying is the only real way...but from what you said of your combo, I am of the opinion that you would have zero issues. In fact, you could probably mill it some more to get a little compression out of it without it hitting.

Claying's a b*tch and a half, but I know I should. I did look as some other's NA setups to see what they were doing, and it seems like youre right about me being fine, I see some ppl even going as far as .06" LOL! and here I was worried about .008" in total. Thanks though.
