How can you tell if the LSD is still inside the transmission (H22A)?
Aside from opening the tranny, is there a way to figure out whether or not the LSD has been removed? Not for my tranny, my friend has an LSD tranny that was rebuilt by a friend, but now he's suspicious that he stole the LSD out of it. It's still sitting in the garage, and he's afraid to crack it open. Can you stick the axles in it and spin one to see if the other one spins? Or remove the speed sensor or something and check with a flashlight?

Re: (zccr-xsi)
Any other way to tell an LSD? I read there should be an ink stamped "LSD", but this does not hold true for cheaters trying to sell a non-lsd, (easy to apply). The one I'm looking at has no bar in the center. It also has no ID /bar code tag either. Thanks
