Grease talk: best grease to get rid of polyurethane bushing squeaking?
I've been using white lithium lubricant on my bushings, but after 6-8 weeks, the bushings become vocal. What type of lubricant / grease will hold up the longest for polyurethane bushings?

All the urethane bushings I have dealt with came with a sticky silicone based grease. I've had mine in for a couple of years now without any squeaking, so I would say that is the way to go. I don't know where to get more other than asking someone like Energy Suspension.

Don't know where you can get this stuff, buy try using a food grade chain oil. I used it on my shock bushing when they started to squeak and it worked wonders.

I called Progress Competition once about their bushing creaking on their front camber kit, they said to use a lithium-based grease. I don't believe that, though. I used a lithium based grease and the creaking came back after about a month, so I took it all apart and used some cheap-o Coastal high-temp grease I found at Wal-Mart for like $2. I'm not sure if it's lithium-based or not, but it is red. I applied a LOT of it to all surfaces of the bushing, it was oozing out of the joints when I was done. That was about a month ago, and I have been squeak-free, so we'll see...
By the way, when I was first trying to figure out what was creaking so badly in the front suspension, I took it in to a repair shop (this was before I knew anything about anything), and they said it was the upper ball joints so they sold me on new upper control arms from Honda because the ball joints are not serviceable, plus the labor, so it was like $500, and it turns out I didn't need them because it was just the camber kit creaking (which they threw away during the control arm install..)

The trick to stopping the sqweaking on aftermarket poly bushings is to sand down the surfaces of the bushing to remove the shiny molded surface. Once all the shine is gone, and you lube them up really well, the sqweak will forever be gone (maybe I'm exagerating). I've had my bushings in for a little over a year now, and they were lubed when installed (nothing since), and no sqweaks.
