Fitting Manual Windows - EG Civic
Hi guys, hopefully you can help. I am in the process of replacing my electric windows for manual ones in an EG Civic (UK Car). Got the manual mechanisms and had a go at fitting them.
However once fitted, when you wind the window to the top its stopping leaving an inch gap at the top. On the other note when you wind them fully down its stopping because the mechanism is hitting the base of the inner door frame.
I have tried to wind the mechanism fully down before fitting to the car, but doing it this way means all the screw holes don’t line up. Once the mechanism is in place in the door panel you can screw 4 out of the 6 screws in. You have to start winding the window up a little before the other 2 holes line up. I have then screwed these two in but still there is a gap at the top when fully up.
Here are some pics of the door panel and the mechanism, the white circles are the holes I have used to connect the window mechanism to the door.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Yes I have the door panel and trim which is a stright fit. My car is a 92-95 Civic EG 3DR Hatch, and the manual winder mechanisms are from a 92-95 Civic EG 3DR Coupe. I believe these should be a stright fit?

Re: Fitting Manual Windows - EG Civic
I took the power units out of the car over 12 months ago, so can't remember which holes they were in. But I think the power units do mount in a different place.
If anyone has manual windows in an EG Civic please could you take a picture of the door panel and upload it so I can make sure I am mounting it in the right place.
Cheers

I actually just went from manual to power regulators.
The manual ones uses the set of holes to the right.
The 2 holes highlighted on the far left are correct but the 2 highlighted ones just to the right of those are wrong.
Its the other 2 just to the right.
