difference between d15 and d16
I was wondering if any one knew the difference between the d15 crank and rods compared to the d16 crank and rods? what is the bearing difference? I do not have a shop manual handy or I would not be asking these questions.
Thank you

Re: difference between d15 and d16 (ddd4114)
what I was asking is are the cranks interchangeable and will a d15's pistons fit a d16 rod using the d15 pins? are they the same stroke with a different bore? I know the bottom end of a d16 is way stronger than a d15. the number's posted were for which motor or all d series? with a few exceptions. I dont need to know if it is logical to do I just want to know if it can be done. thank you

Re: difference between d15 and d16 (civicxxman)
The cranks are not interchangeable. The rods are also not interchangeable. The only exception is the d15b crank, which can use d16 rods. I'm not sure about the pistons.
The d16 has a 90mm stroke (as opposed to the d15's 84.5mm stroke). They both have a 75mm bore.
EDIT: I mixed up the first part.
