ok so i hear everyone saying how much DC sports exhaust systems suck. i never really paid attention because i was not have any problems with my set up, but recently my DC sports headers cracked at one of the welds. I rewelded but apparently the crack was pretty big so it cracked again.

I was looking at Megan racing headers because of the cost. i am trying to preserve a little dough because i just order my swap and all new seals, water pump etc.

So which headers do people find more reliable, DC Sports - Megan Racing - or something else?

I have megan racing headers and i must say they are pretty sturdy for the price. I really cant imagine a significant performance difference between the two so i would say go megan!

Not sure how long you had your dc sports header but those good because already been bench tested. I'm not too certain about megan headers because I'm not sure if really good since it make in china.. I head it good for public driving and not high speed..

My DC sports headers are only a little over a year old, the megan headers i have been looking at have a really attractive price, im not expecting any more HP by going with them though, the specs on both are about the same

I would have to say pacesetter. they are alittle pricey but very sturdy

Iv read some good reviews on the skunk2 race header. and dyno shows a pretty good difference as well.

yeah i would like some of the skunk2 but those damn things are way out of the budget, just did the motor swap, plus all new seals (everything) water pump, fuel pump, etc.

I have the weapon r race header and I love it. Great sound and nice and sturdy. Little pricey but you get what ya pay for with stuff like that.

Yea and it holdds up good even thru winter and the clearence all around is great. I had a pacesetter on my ls civic and I didn't like the 4 to 1 setup

in my past experience dc sports headers rust pretty fast and ive personally never seen a rusty megan racing header. but when you see a used dc sports header its 99% of the time pretty rusty.

I do not like the megan brand headers. I tried one on my 1992 accord. The flex pipe rusted in about 3 months and developed a leak. The flanges were very warped and I had to sand them flat to stop a leak there. The nuts and bolts included stripped out and I had to buy stainless ones from Home Depot. It also hung down very low. Looking back I wish I chose a better brand.

DC sports are junk. The oxygen sensor bung I got had a small hole in it when I first received it. I'll never mess with them again.

Dc's are junk a lot of mass produce headers are junk my heltechs are OK I like to go with the new skunk2 headers race line.
