Default d16y8 vtec solenoid oil leak
Have a healthy d16y8 no leaks at all except for one I cant get rid of....
The damn vtec solenoid keeps leaking where it meets the head.
I have bought 2 brand new gaskets from Honda and they have failed on me in the past 2 months.
I also went to Autozone the last time I changed the gasket and got some grey sealent, lasted 2 days now its the same.
Suggestions??

Should I try another vtec solenoid? sand it?

was it a vtec swap? if so you will need to take out the oil jet so the vtec can activate without blowing through gaskets.
