ConRod bearings
My JDM B18c type R just started a bottom end knock
Is there anyway of identifying the bearing sizes of the connecting rod and order by color from acura or can I just order a set of standard bearing from companies like ACL and King bearings
Any help is appreciated pls point me in the right directions of how I would go about replacing my bearings

Bottom end knock=toasted crankshaft 99% of the time, so its probably time to start looking for one of those too.
Sizing your bearings requires knowing the crank code stamps and rod code stamps. Theres an easy ti find chart on google
Aftermarket bearings are a one size fits all deal and may or may not be too loose or tight

Re: ConRod bearings
m4xwellmurd3r is right, if it's knocking it's already damaged the crank. If the ITR crank is different from other B-series cranks (i.e. not cheap or easy to find replacements for) and if this is a street engine a journal regrind with matching bearings may be your lowest cost fix. In my area this costs $80-100. More than one may spend on a more common, good used crank from the classifieds, but possibly cheaper than your ITR replacement.
I used all OE honda bearings on my F-series and the clearance was good of course. I got one-size-fits-all bearings from the auto parts store for the D-series... nearly the same clearances as the OE.
If you decide to use the OE bearings and find another crank, just wait for the crank to arrive and select your bearing colors based on the coding on the crank and block.

Re: ConRod bearings
Thanx for input guys ill be dropping the crank this week and check the connecting rod journals, I've already ordered acl standard bearing set, if the journals are not too worn ill put in the standard bearings,
My other option is there's plenty of b18/20 blocks at the junkyard I could pick one up for $80 bucks and do lsvtec setup while I rebuild my block
As soon I heard the knock I've stopped driving it since, it just sucks how its summer now and another setback
