Can a 1998 Honda Civic remote be reprogrammed for a 1992?

Default Can a 1998 Honda Civic remote be reprogrammed for a 1992?
I have an operable original keyless from our 1998 Civic and want to use it for our 1992 Honda Civic. Is it possible to re-program that remote for the 1992?
