Brake Master Cylinder Question Help! Please!
I have an eg with the gsr rear and stuff. The brake sinks all the way down. I heard the gsr cylinder will fix this prob. My question is will the gsr master bolt on to the eg booster? If not will a gsr booster fit right onto my chassis and stuff? I'm about to buy a gsr m/c from a guy right now and any help will be nice. Also will a teg type r cylinder and booster fit?

Not positive, but I've heard this is a common problem. Maybe I should try bleeding it out, but I heard that a gsr master cylinder will fix it. I'm wondering if the gsr master cylinder will bolt on to my stock brake booster or if i have to get the booster with the new master cylinder.

unless you have abs you will need to buy a rs master cylinder because they have no abs. it will bolt right up to your booster.

I also have an EG with gsr front and rear brake system. I am VERY condifent that you have air in your brake system or something else. Steps I would take: bleed, check/replace caliper seals, check all connections and lines, make sure your brakes and rotors are still in good condition.
You are right in that when you do the brake swap your pedal goes down farther, but it should NOT sink all the way down like you are stating, it should just feel softer. Now if you are looking to making the brakes FEEL better and have less travel you will need a gsr booster and master cylinder. You will also need to do some light modification on one line because it will not fit the gsr master cylinder. I recommend adding the gsr master cylinder though, it does impove the feel of braking.

Re: Brake Master Cylinder Question Help! Please! (murtnabila)
Thank you guys for all the info. One last question. I'm about to buy a itr m/c and booster combo. This guy can supposedly make me an adaptor for 25 bucks that'll make the booster fit with the abs/no abs etc. He says he has one on his ef like that and he's absolutely sure that it'll work. Do you expert guys agree? Again thanx.

He says that i have to bend some lines to make the itr one work. Would I have to do the same if I bought a rs booster?

Thanks for all your input guys I think I'm just gonna go with the itr stuff and just buy the adapter and bend the lines. Good Idea? Anyone with experience with this?

i have eg with itr 5lug... it goes almost all the way down.
im getting RS integra because you wont have to modify anything to fit. mine doesnt have abs also so thats why. theres realy no diference if you use ITR or RS. its jus differ in price i think.
-get RS.
