Default Best aftermarket Valvetrain for LS VTEC

I am posting this for a friend. He has a 1993 Civic Dx 2 door coupe. He hydrolocked his motor and is now going to go LS VTEC. He is going to have a GSR block with a JDM B16 head and type r cams. He will be using LS pistons, rods, and the ls crank. He needs a new valve train for the head. What kind of valve train shoud he buy? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

He won't be able to really take advantage of the R cams unless he bumps up his compression to > 10:1. Also since your'e using R cams, just use the R valve springs.

gsr+b16 head=low compression bad for all motor
If he is going to stick with the R cams, you could get in R inner and outer springs. Or portflow springs, with R springs. Maybe the retainers should be upgraded to.
