B series best intake/exhaust port dimensions
Hi,
I am preparing a B20 Vtec. I got myself a B16a head with its intake mani, on which a friend is doing a port and polish job.
I am going to upgrade the intake and exhaust mani later and wanted to know the best port dimensions of the intake and exhaust on a B series head for a B20 application.
I measured a friend's B18c type R head, skunk2 intake mani, ebay triY header port mm
here goes:
Description - width(mm) - height(mm)
B18C head intake - 52 - was not able to measure
Skunk2 intake - 52 - 33.5
B18C head exhaust - 43 - 30
ebay Header triY - 46 - 32
Does anybody have details dimensions of PLM headers and Edelbrock intake mani?
I want to port match them when doing the port and polish job, so when later upgrading mani, I wont need to remove head to port match.
I've tried looking for these info, didn't get any online.
