Default Tokico HP - warranty question

I know these shocks come with a lifetime warranty for replacement, but I did not receive the Tokico warranty cards along with the struts.

Does every card have a unique product number Tokico can identify?

Can I obtain these warranty cards anywhere?

I still have the original receipt which I printed out indicating the date and place purchase, so if one of my shocks blows or wears out, will I still be covered under the warranty?

Most likely they will not warranty the shocks if the car had a lowered suspension. And yes, they will be able to tell if the car was lowered or not.

It seems as though there is some misunderstanding in my original post....

My question is if I don't have the Tokico warranty card, will they still honor the lifetime warranty as long as I have the original receipt showing that I was the original owner and I bought them new?

Should I contact the shop who sold these to me to get a warranty card?

there isnt a warranty card. call tokico up with your concerns.

- Q: Does TOKICO offer a warranty on their products?
A: TOKICO offers a limited lifetime warranty for all of our performance shocks purchased for street use. Products used or designed for competition are not covered under warranty.

- Q: How do I make Warranty Claim?
A: You need to have your original proof of purchase and make a claim with the business that you originally purchased the product from. If they are no longer in business, you will need to work with another authorized distributor near you.

I did a warranty claim with some Illuminas on a 94 gsr that was lowered on GC springs and they never questioned whether it was lowered.... AAMOF we told them one was blown and the other 3 were worn out and they paid for all 4.

Illuminas are a much different shock than the OEM replacement HPs.

was anyone able to get tokico to warranty the shocks?

i have a set of hp's that were crap from the very beginning (car isn't even lowered more than .8"). tokico claims i have to go to a vendor. vendors keep telling me to go back to tokico. i'm overall pretty disatisfied w/ tokico quality and service.

Due to how Tokico wishes to handle their warranty, I would try and find another approved vendor instead of the one telling you to go to Tokico.

In fact, I might inform Tokico of the vendor who is not honoring the warranty as Tokico states they will. They might not be an approved vendor.
