TEIN Control Master Type Flex
Guys, I'm out of ideas.
I fitted a set of TEIN's on my 98 JDM DC2 ITR, and the fronts are squeaking.
These are used & have been sitting in my garage for a few years, but they had less than 2000kms when I bought them & even now, still look new.
I've tried to rectify whatever could've potentially been an issue, lubricated
everything thrice over, & still the noise persists. I had also installed a set of Skunk2 Pro Plus upper control arms when this installation was done..
I've done some research & indications are that this sometimes happens on the TEIN's, new or used, but there's divided opinion as to whether its normal or not.
What else can I do here?

Sounds to me like the upper control arm bushings are squeaking. They tend to do that when they get old.
Jack the car up, break the upper ball joint loose from the UCA, then try to move the UCA up and down by hand. You'll probably hear that squeaking, though possibly at a higher sound pitch.

They come with their own poly bushes, & I asked the guy who did the installation if he removed or loosened the bushes, and lubricated them enough between the bushes & the inner portions of the control arms & he said he had, more than sufficiently, & we lubricated with liquid grease after.
