If you have some basic hand tools you can do it yourself.

Then get an alignment.

When I had my shocks installed when I was living in an apartment they were $75 a corner just to install them. nost sure how much it would be with adding springs to that.

Most corporate shops (meineke, midas, etc.) will charge a lot of money. Like solracer said, $75 a corner sounds about right. Try to find a local shop to do it for you. I found a locally owned shop and they installed my struts for $125 total.

Most shops will charge you book time to do it. So its the # of hours times the shop rate. Call up some shops and get an estimate.

I have a tech at the dealership do it, he gets to keep all the money and i spend a lot less. Last time he installed just springs and did the alignment and I paid him $50.

It's about a 4 hour job and most shops charge between $60 and $100 per hour. Do the math and it's 240-400 dollars. While you are there you should get an alignment as well so add another $60. If these are true adjustable coilovers then you should also get the car corner weighted. Take it to a raceshop and get everything done right and it will cost you about $500.

You live in eastern PA. Two places you might consider are Taggart Performance Engineering in 717-285-7348 Columbia, PA or CSE Chassis, Suspension, and Engines Performance Specialists. Bill Sherwood.(215)885-5570 in Oreland PA. Both sponsor local autocross series and are long-time racers.

regards,
alan

Most real shops will charge $200-300 to do a full coil-over install with or without shocks. Whether doing just shocks or just springs or both shocks and springs is no difference in time. Usually you can get it done for less then $250, even with a name brand shop. We charge $250 for example.
