skunk2 coilovers w/ koni shocks?
hey wats up, i been lookin for days on all forums, i gotta 2000 prelude, and i jus got my koni yellow shocks , im having sum trouble on the install...im using skunk2 coilovers and skunk2 gave me a ring adapter but im not sure if i place the koni spring perch over the circlip and den the ring adapter on top and den the sleeve/coil on top that or do i juss place the ring adapter on top of the circlip and let the sleeve/coil sit on that? note that the ring adapter i received from skunk2 has a groove on it ... also i see on other threads posted here for other setups used w/ koni shock another ring is being placed over that circlip, do i need this?....anyone have this setup or prob? appreciate the help

im saying i dont know if i should use the koni spring perch with the skunk2 ring adapter on top of that and then the skunk2 sleeve/coilover on top that OR just the skunk2 adaptar ring onto the shock and the sleeve/coil on top of that? which would be the correct way of installing these? the safe way? thanks

No. It's possible although not recommended with Konies and 1) not needed when using the Skunk2 Koni ring adapter and 2) will void you Koni warranty.
Yes.
Note that you will also not need the gold colored steel ring up front.
Pay attention that you don't go to low because with stock yellow Konies you will hit your bumpstops. You could then construct DIY extended top hats or buy GC ones.
