i've done some searching and nothing i have found has really answered my question, but anyways..

i have 91 si hatch, with gc/koni 400f/450r setup, and function7 lcas. my question is what is the best aftermarket rear swaybar that connects to the lcas, other than the strut type?

because from my understanding and from i have read the st rear sway has the strut type mounting location. since i have the f7 lcas, they have the three adjustable holes and i would like to put them into use. btw the car is for "sometimes daily"/roadrace (weekend).

any suggestions?

try neuspeed or tanabe. they are made to use OEM endlink and are non adjustable themselves, but I imagine you can use spherical endlinks too to accommodate the extra mounting positions.

okay so lets say if i was to buy some endlinks like "function7, or blox" what swaybars could i use them with?

Probably all of them. There is probably just a bolt that goes through the swaybar and endlink, then another one that goes through the endlink and control arm. Ask the company you are buying from if their endlink fits the type of sway bar you want to run.

you listed neuspeed and tanabe, non of which i prefer, because i prefer something that is a little larger than 20mm. i guess i just dont understand what sway bar i will need, because the suspension techniques rear bar connects where the strut would, and not by endlink>lca right?

neuspeed is 22mm. but expensive as hell, so i would understand why you wouldnt want to buy it.

tanabe is 20mm, but made of a harder steel alloy. so probably just as good as a 22mm.

mugen is 22mm and made to drop right in as well.

yes, ST is made to mount to the strut. on its stiffest setting, i suppose you could make it fit the hole locations on the arm with spacers. the holes on the swaybar are probably too far to be desirable to mount to if youre using the mounting holes on the arms.

okay i might just settle with an st bar for its adjustability.

id go tanabe if i were you.

in comparison, ST is fairly kludgy. endlinks are bulky, kinda get in the way of exhaust. but before, it was relaly the only viable choice. looking at the installs of tanabe bars, id go with that. seems much cleaner. and not alien green...
