Popping from front end during braking / turning
Alright heres the situation, its a 1993 integra GSR, recently lowered on skunk2 springs, but the sound occured before the drop so its not nothing to do with that.
When I reverse, and hit the brakes I hear a solid pop sound coming from what sounds like the driver side of the front of the car, i know its atleast the front end. If i do that and stop, then continue to reverse and hit the brakes again it doesnt make the sound, like whatever is popping already did what it was gonna do sort of. If i do that, then go forward and hit the brakes it pops again. If i continue to go forward and hit the brakes again it doesnt do it, so it seems like something is moving forward and backwards whenever i go either forward or reverse. It also seems to do it worse whenever im turning the wheel to the left. Its like a solid "clank" sound like if you were to take a hammer and tap it against something solid like the axle type of sound. I wouldnt think it would be the axles since the way the sound occurs but who knows.
Any idea's or similar experiences youve had please postem up. The front upper arms are stock and as far as i know the balljoints are all still original which would have 188K on them, so it could be that, the way its seems is something is loose though.
Also, when i jack the front up and shake the wheels @ 12 and 6 it doesnt move/pop etc and when i shake it at 9 and 3 it doesnt do anything either so its nothing to do with the tie rods i dont believe.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Popping from front end during braking / turning (itslogz)
It could be a suspension bush, but it might possibly be a loose brake pad.
The pads fit into the calipers so that there is minimal pad movement around the hub axis as the brakes are applied (just enough clearance so the pads can move in / out freely without binding). If the upper or lower edge(s) of a pad(s) is worn, or the caliper itself is worn (where the upper and / or lower edge of the pad sits) then when the brakes are applied the pad may move until the clearance is taken up, with an accompanying noise (a knock or bang, maybe even a 'pop').
Just a guess.
Or, maybe you have a loose caliper? This would be bad...

Check your torque on the radius rods and cross member... and actually go through the whole front end piece by piece and re tighten to spec everything. it shouldn't take to long. if you wanted to you could actually dis-assemble the radius and check to see if your rubber bushings were bad.
