Hi guys, I have bought some suspension like the set in the link, and I am finding it very hard to find info. on the particular model.

I believe it's made by Penske suspension? This true, anyone have any experience?

I bought it from a DC2 that came from Japan for parts, it's in very nice condition.

I remember that auction. Seemed too good to be true so I didn't bid… I'd also like to know if they're really Penske or not.

That's not Penske dampers. Just another random brand coilover set.

Yeah not likely. Penskes would have nicer 3d machining on the perches, the anodizing looks different, I don't see any adjusters at the top, and the top of the damper itself is threaded for user rebuild (those look factory sealed). Most importantly, Penske is proud of their name for good reason, it would be prominently printed on the damper somewhere.

Thanks for the replies guys, And I had my doubts after researching examples of Penske suspension, not forgetting the price! I wonder were the seller on yahoo got his info. or he is he trying a fast one? lol.

But anyway, suspension has no markings, I have narrowed down my search a bit more. It's possible after a lot of research on google.jp that the suspension is an issue from 'zerofighter555', the guys that sell Japanese race parts/cars, and apparently they get their suspension made by suspension manufacturer CRUX who make the J's coilovers etc...

But I've contacted them, it's hard to capture the gold colour properly with a camera.

Anyway, a few pics before I took them apart for cleaning.
