Koni Yellow Adjustment or || PIC Select||???

Koni Yellow Adjustment or || PIC Select||???
I'm about to purchase my coilovers. What adjustment would be best for 450F/350R GC springs on my EK3 B16 swap? I have all my seats in and it would be a daily driver and tracked at times.
I hate the fact that I would have to take the rears off to adjust them hence the reason I'm also leaning towards 'PIC Select' (if guys can convince me they're worth the extra $400). I like the reviews and the simple 7-8 click adjustability.
I'm hoping to beat the discount deadline at 'TunerSports'. Only 1 day left.
The koni is much better priced otherwise I'l be gone with PIC a long time ago.

I have the pic select r3. 12k/10k. To be honest with you, once you have the height set you're not going to change it very often. So even with the koni/gc, it's going to be a similar situation.

Have you ridden on a Koni/GC setup? If not what can you compare the PIC's to? Taking the rear off to adjust still...
Edit: I'm currently checking some GControl Sleeves on ebay (4530.02)
F : 58
R : 44
What rates are these? I asked for rates and all they gave me is this saying that's what's on the box...

Then don't buy them. Sounds like the seller isn't terribly knowledgable about his product.
You can get a brand new set, shipped, from a vendor here (TH Motorsports) for $350. Any rates you want. They have excellent combo deals too.
As far as adjustment you'll just have to play until they're right. I like to crank them all the way up and then lower the damping until it feels right. One end at a time.
Is pic even still selling suspensions? It's been quiet from them for a couple years now.

I just spoke to Luke at THM and was told the rear konis adjust with the **** on the EK Civics. Can anyone confirm this? This would be great !!!

As for the gc, you can adjust the spring perches on the gc sleeves without taking the struts out. However if you are going to change the setting of the circlip on the koni strut then you will need to remove it. As for dampening adjustability of the struts (koni vs pic) it's a matter of turning the ****.

Shocks, not struts
Yeah, you don't need to disassemble anything to adjust you Koni's. Use the **** on top. Don't worry about not having clicks either, it's exactly the same thing. The **** has eight ribs on it, just keep track of how many 1/8th turns you make:
Take notes at each adjustment and you can always go back and forth between settings easily.

Dude, you just spoke to a person on the phone and you're going to confirm with people behind a computer screen on a forum? When did the internet become a valid source of information?

Re: Koni Yellow Adjustment or || PIC Select||???
well I guess you guys have a point but looking at youtube vids and different reviews I saw a lot of them pressing the shock all the way down then turning it (rears) to adjust the dampening. I don't trust anything 100%, whether its on the phone or behind a computer that's why it's called confirmation and I got what I was looking for. That simple. Thanks for the help; those of you who made a valid input. (Y) I'll order them from Luke @THM in a bit...

Progress would be a better option than the PICs imo, but I would take the Konis over all. They really are an investment, they can grow with you if you plan on keeping the car and developing it.

Re: Koni Yellow Adjustment or || PIC Select||???
I actually realised that today is the 31st (was thinking yesterday); the end of tunersports !!sale!! I must purchase today. I'm between:
1. Koni GC - $800 400F/350R (THMotorsport)
2. Progress CS II - $615 (TunerM)
3. Skunk2 Pro-C - $1101.04 (TunerM)
I can't seem to find any comparison between ride quality between Koni/GC and Progress CS II.
I know the Skunk2 cost much more but I really like the features...
I'm from the Caribbean and our roads are like tracks ... bumpy as well..

Dude that is one of the most age old discussions in the suspension forum. I'm willing to bet you wouldn't even make it to the bottom of the second page without finding your answer.
Don't take it personally but it's time for you to learn to fish... On your own.

You will. You made a good decision.
BTW I'm NOT being a smart mouth. If you become more self sufficient and learn to find things on your own you actually have a better chance at becoming a worthwhile contributor to the forum... rather than being someone who clogs it up with repetitive questions and swallows people's time by asking to be coddled.
That's why almost every forum here has a sticky at the top that says "SEARCH!!!!" somewhere in the title. We're not doing anything even close to new here.
