kg to pounds conversions?? how do they match up
im familiar with pound rates for springs, but i keep seeing kg now. im looking at some drag coilovers for my drag car, and im seeing spring rates around 10-12kg. hows that match up with lb's?

way cool. thanks for the replies.
im looking at the omni drags with 10k front and 18k rear. i know it will be stiff as **** on the street, but im tired of hitting bumps and having my car dip so low my ******* crossmember hits the ground

You may just be too low, no matter the spring rates. Tires flush and no tucking, 450-front and 375-rear should prevent you bottoming out (suspension or otherwise) except for the most severe bumps. Rebound adjustment, which most dampers out there today only provide, will not help prevent compression of the suspension, so don't think that setting your dampers to full stiff will help; this can actually hinder the suspension because too much rebound will create a 'jack-down' effect essential not letting the suspension come out of compression fast enough before hitting the next bump and then interference occurs.
What are your spring rates currently and how low do you sit?

right now my front just barely tucks, and the rear has about a finger and a half gap which closes up when i sit in the car ( i weight around 190). i dont know the spring rates on the tein's now, but its much less than h &r's race springs.
heres a pic from before i got my 16's and actually raised the back up about 1/2-3/4 inch because it would rub all the time
