You're were also hoping that they were a legit option of equal quality if you found out the Koni's you were looking at were somehow NOT legit. That's why you want to know about Staggs so badly. Obviously you're trying to play fast and cheap with your suspension. I owned a Prelude and I wouldn't put that bullshit on my car if I still had it.

Champagne tastes. Kool-aid money.
pff, what? im wondering about the staggs because ive read a little about them over a month ago when i was browsing for shocks. i read a few forums on them and 98% said they enjoyed them and they claimed that the shocks were around 30% stiffer than OEM and were nice to drive on. they also lasted a while. this was on a BMW forum, a Toyota forum, A Honda forum etc. and i have tons of other things i need to buy right now and seeing as though i dont drive on a racetrack to get from point A to point B im not too concerned about how fantastic my suspension is. and preludes are 2500 dollar cars. why are u trying to make them sound out to be supercar that requires only the best? ive only found one negative review on them. they have a lifetime warranty, except when installed on excessively lowered, cars. which my prelude is not.

and im just looking for a small bit of performance for a bargain, not looking to spend tons of cash. i had a chunk of money saved to fully build the head, but i decided that since its my daily driver, id rather replace all the basic components of my car with high mileage on them such as axles, all rotors, pads, calipers, all seals, all timing components, header, shocks, fluids. OEM **** is standard issue quality, but it will also cost u an arm which i dont feel like giving. im already over 1200 in the hole and still havent bought my header or shocks. so yes, sorry for trying to find out more information on something i might install on my car. and what makes it junk? the price? ebay coilovers are cheap and do the job. same with megan. megan racing is a reliable product manufacturer without a heavy price tag. stagg sounds to be the same.

Worry about the maintenance related issues before you go upgrading the shocks.

Anything below STOCK ride height will be considered "excessively lowered" to the manufacturer of the shocks. Just another way to void the warranty so 19yo idiots don't come back on them claiming a warranty when their cheap *** shocks blow.

Do the regular preventative maintenance and then go buy a set of KONIS

yea i want konis, but everythign from the stock header to the catalytic converter is so crushed and the bolts on the header are stripped. so im guna try and get a logic header if i can get a good deal from either them or for sale used from someone . depending on leftover money hopefully i will be able to.

and my rear shocks are already blown or i wouldnt worry about them lol. maybe ill just upgrade the rear ones for now idk. what would happen if i only upgraded the rear ones? would the ride be extremely unbalanced and awkward? konis in the back, slightly worn OEM ones int he front lol

They for sure aren't real Konis or they is something seriously wrong with them. Konis go for normally around $600 for the set. That's way to much less.
