Re: how much should a set of Koni Yellows(new) go for?
You're asking about Staggs because they pop up when you do a search for Konis for a Prelude on Ebay and you somehow thought they were an alternative to Koni Yellows. Just like every other thread that I've read about them. "I found these on Ebay. Are they worth it?" You're were also hoping that they were a legit option of equal quality if you found out the Koni's you were looking at were somehow NOT legit. That's why you want to know about Staggs so badly. Obviously you're trying to play fast and cheap with your suspension. I owned a Prelude and I wouldn't put that bullshit on my car if I still had it.

and im just looking for a small bit of performance for a bargain, not looking to spend tons of cash. i had a chunk of money saved to fully build the head, but i decided that since its my daily driver, id rather replace all the basic components of my car with high mileage on them such as axles, all rotors, pads, calipers, all seals, all timing components, header, shocks, fluids. OEM **** is standard issue quality, but it will also cost u an arm which i dont feel like giving. im already over 1200 in the hole and still havent bought my header or shocks. so yes, sorry for trying to find out more information on something i might install on my car. and what makes it junk? the price? ebay coilovers are cheap and do the job. same with megan. megan racing is a reliable product manufacturer without a heavy price tag. stagg sounds to be the same.

i have tons of other things i need to buy right now and seeing as though i dont drive on a racetrack to get from point A to point B im not too concerned about how fantastic my suspension is.

Anything below STOCK ride height will be considered "excessively lowered" to the manufacturer of the shocks. Just another way to void the warranty so 19yo idiots don't come back on them claiming a warranty when their cheap *** shocks blow.
Do the regular preventative maintenance and then go buy a set of KONIS

Worry about the maintenance related issues before you go upgrading the shocks.

They for sure aren't real Konis or they is something seriously wrong with them. Konis go for normally around $600 for the set. That's way to much less.
