Grease for swaybar bushings w/ Zerk fittings?
I have the Energy Suspension sway bar bushings with the Zerk grease fittings on my ITR rear swaybar. I was at O'Reillys auto parts the other day and saw 3 different kinds of grease in the little miniature tubes for those small grease guns:
- regular multipurpose (black color)
- lithium grease (not sure if white or another color)
- marine-grade grease (also not sure what color)
I've been using the regular black multi-purpose grease in the past, but I was wondering if another one of these would be better? I just didn't know if any of them might cause the polyurethane to deteriorate faster.
I'm pretty sure the Energy Suspension lube stuff is too thick and sticky to pump through a grease gun, and besides I've never even seen that stuff in a tube to be used in a grease gun. Suggestions?
