Grease EVERYWHERE but no rip!??
I jacked up my car to flush the radiator and noticed tons of grease on the tierod and the inside of my rims on the driver's side. I checked all the cv boots and none of them were ripped.
The car seems to drive fine, no clicking or anything. Are there any other places where there are tons of grease that might have leaked out? Can greae from the wheel bearing leak out... and when I say leaked out.. I meant a a lot.
There's like a coating of grease all around the inner side of my rim..

I had grease spray out of my right inner CV boot, but no rips. Sometimes it just leaks out past the clamp. I replaced the axle as soon as I found the grease had sprayed out.

The outer CV joint is the only component in that area that holds enough grease to coat the inside of the wheel. As the others mentioned, it is likely leaking past the clamp.
Wheel bearings are effectively sealed and will not leak grease externally.

If it is a missing or loose clamp.. can I just spray some grease in there and tighten up the clamp? If so, how much grease do I spray in there? Or it doesn't matter? Thanks for the replies
