Front end popping
My front end has recently started popping when i start off from a stop and when i brake, not sure what it is. i know its not the CV's because both are less than 2 months old. the sound varies a little bit from a groaning to the worst so far which were a couple semiloud pops which happened when i started from a stop while turning left up a hill. taken it to les schwab a couple times, they dont know what the hell it is but they aknowledge its there. any ideas?

i had the same sound in my rear blox LCA. when i went back to stock LCA the sound went away. dont even ask me how that happen. when i drove, i would only hear it coming out of a stop once until i drove in reverse.

Re: Front end popping
Check your tie rods, inner and outer. Mine were bad and had the same noise you describe.
-specifically my inner tie rods were bad, one side was worse but I replaced both. not too hard to do.

Re: Front end popping
Most of the front end popping sounds I've experienced have been either my upper or lower ball joints... usually the lower ones. It's most pronounced when turning the steering wheel while stopped, though.

My car does this every now and then, im 99% sure its my lower ball joints.
I plan to replace all 4 ball joints and inner/outer tie rods. youd be suprised with the difference that just those can make.
