Default Dc2 Coilovers

Hey guys, just wanted to ask what you all think about the Dc2 Coilovers and how it rides for a 94 eg hatch or is their a better way to go for about the same price?

Dc2 and D2 are 2 totally different things. I myself would buy a DC2 given the chance for a nice one. D2 I would never touch.

D2s and all the other China coil-overs are mainly just for looks. I had some D2s and switched to Koni yellows/H&R springs and it's beyond comparison.

I'm not trying to defend D2, but he obviously hit something hard, like a curb. Look at the shock tower.

That may be the case, but each image is a different person. Not all the same car. I've collected those over the years.

Do OEM top hats crumple when you run your wheel into a curb?

Apples and oranges. That's like comparing everyones beloved aftermarket lca's and oem. When you hit something hard enough, something is bound to break.

I think the argument on LCAs is much more about the quality (or lack thereof) of the bushings used.

Aluminum is aluminum, for the most part.

And Function7 actually tests their products for crash/safety. They wouldn't release the WIP front LCA/Fork kit they were designing because they didn't feel it met their safety standards.
