I'm looking to beef up the back end of my 94 Civic's suspension. I know that people say it's unnecessary, but I'd feel better having it strengthened.

The two braces I hear most about are the ASR and Comptech. The ASR looks fine, but I at least want to know what a Comptech does that the ASR doesn't. Or are they both equal?
I have only found this Comptech brace for a 94-01 Integra. Will it fit a Civic?

The subframe reinforcement is about the same between the two, the ASR is a bit bigger. The ASR uses a stock ITR bar (or they have a 24mm adjustable bar too), the comptech comes with an adjustable bar.

I am currently running the comptech sway/brace combo. Its a really nice quality piece. It comes with a 22mm adjustable sway bay and spherical endlnks. If your car is a normal street driven car and you do the occassional spirited driving, the combo will be great for you. A matter of fact. If you're interested in it, I am selling mine. Only the sway bar and spherical endlinks though. Feel free to PM me for more details.

R-Crew makes a knockoff of the Comptech brace. Add a ITR sway and you've got a nice setup.

ASR brace uses interior brackets where as the Comptech does not. Concept would be a Comptech bar + Beaks interior brackets.

I've had my Comptech with an ITR bar for more than 5 years... aggressive street driving and lapping. No issues on my 98 GSR.
