Default Brake Booster Question. HELP

Sup everyone.
I have a 97 Teggy and the other day I got gas an I pulled out the gas station and I had basically no brakes. The car would stop but I'd have to push hard.
So I got it home an notice when I push the brake pedal the rpm go high an then when I left off the rpm will drop and almost stall the car an has stalled it.
Is this a MAster cylinder problem or booster???
My brake fluid is still full in the reservoir so there is no leak that I can see.
Hope I can get some knowledge on this cuz from what I read boosters are like 5000 to 1 to go out.
Guess that's my luck lol
Thanks everyone

Check for any vacuum leaks. When you pump the brakes does the pressure eventually build up ?

Ya I checked all the lines and all are good. No I even tried bleeding the brakes again an did nothing.

Bleeding them again won't do anything. Seal off and isolate the brake booster and pump the brakes to see if that makes a difference. If the pedal pressure builds up after a few pumps but loses pressure when holding it down afterwards, chances are a bad master cylinder.

I don't think it is a bad master cylinder. Sounds like you may have a bad booster or check valve.

Clamp off the booster line to the manifold and recheck. If your idle returns to normal, your booster is leaking and is allowing air into the engine. A faulty check valve will only affect atmospheric braking (IE the engine is off). In this case the valve is designed to provide vacuum assist for a limited number of braking events with the engine off with full assist.

In my professional career I have replaced far more boosters than master cylinders. Your 5000 to 1 advice is faulty in my book.
