Default Accord with Integra steering knuckles?

Im trying to figure out if this is possible....my Accord is a 98 V6 with 5 lugs and is on Omni coilovers right now dropped about 3" in the front....i have camber adjustable a-arm so i don't bottom out alot but if i hit a pothole or whatever i do bottom out a little bit....

my question is...can i use an Integra steering knuckle on my car to lower the suspension and regain suspension travel? As far as I know I can swap out the hubs to still use my 5x114 hubs....and the brakes on the Accord V6 and Integra are interchangeable....

I've measured the height of my steering knuckles. It is just over 18". I will include pics to show exactly how i measured...

this is the bottom of the steering knuckle showing where i am measuring from

this is the top of the steering knuckle showing where i measured to

this is a wheel on the steering knuckle showing how much room i have to use a shorter steering knuckle....note that this is without the brake rotor between the hub/wheel so the steering knuckle will be about 1/8" further away from the wheel/tire with that on...

if someone with an integra has some extra knuckles sitting around i would appreciate it if you took a minute to measure them for me.....im hoping they are like 16.5-17" or so

It doesn't work. Period.

By the way, you might want to get the car on an alignment rack. The inner shoulder of that tire is destroyed to the point where it's unsafe to drive. I can see a spot where it's worn into the base layer of rubber.

when you say "it" doesn't work...you mean i can't use an integra knuckle on an accord...right? can you specify why?

and yea don't worry about me driving on those tires...this is a project car that the tires' only use are rolling on wheel dollies....i wouldn't dare drive on those any more....

thanks for the help

from the pictures i've seen on ebay when i looked at integra steering knuckles...they looked the same to me...

i can see ABS sensors might be different...but im doing an engine bay tuck and won't be running ABS anyway...

when i took my accord's knuckles off...i just undid 3 joints with my ball joint separator and it got me thinking that an integra/civic's knuckle may fit because joints like that are pretty universal...
