Icon6 Need a mechanic in the 909!! CRX vibration

hey i have a crx with a b20. it use to shake a lot but since i changed my old ripped motor mounts it shakes less now!! it feels stiff now but when ever i accelerate i feel something bumpy on my tire! when im in 4th gear and i accelerate the car starts to shake more including the steering wheel! please if ur around san bernardino come take a look at it if not ill take it too wherever in my location!

did you change the rear motor mount?

check your shock mounts, they could be out of round.

check your axles.

ive checked the axles there fine
the rear mount looks fine also
and what r the shock mounts!

where your shocks mount? the thing that looks like a hat at the top of your shocks.

check your whole suspension.

check your steering rack.

yea well my shock mounts r on right! they might be worn or something!
suspension is good besides front springs r cut!
and steering rack! i have no idea how to take that off!
so ur good with hfs??
cuz ill take it to u so u can feel the ride!

cuz ill take it to u so u can feel the ride!
cut springs does not = good suspension. cheap ebay coilovers are better than cutting your springs. i had a 91 crx si and my brother has a ef hatch. how are your wheel bearings?

yea they have told me cut spring r no good!
i havent checked the wheel bearings!
u think it can be that causing that bumpy feeling and causing it to shake?!

the bumpy feeling is probably the cut springs. cutting them weakens the metal so it can't take the same load it used to.

the shaking could be anything, has your car been aligned recently?

did you have the rims balanced if so maybe one of the weights fell off

I say its a the tires...try to rotate the rear wheels to the front and the front to the back...

yeah the tires could be un balanced,thats why it feels shakier the faster you go
