GOT SCOPED OUT BY SOME THIEVES! KEEP A LOOKOUT! 626 AREA
What's up honda-techers, around 12am today (Nov. 9th) about 2 hours ago, my car and my homies cars got scoped out. Please, correct me if i'm wrong but this is my 1st type of encounter with thieves.
So my team members and I were chillin near Valley and Garfield (between 2nd St. and 3rd St), in Alhambra, me and 2 other homies cars were parked in front (on valley) of a Tapioca Express(We drive hatches). at around 11:50 i choose to leave with a friend to grab some food down the street, as i get back at 12:00am i noticed 2 hispanic guys, i'd say in their 18-23ish just chillin outside(i didn't think anything of it, other than the fact of them looking a lil fishy). As i go inside to eat my food, one of my homies tells me that we all got scoped out while we were gone. He said they literally walked up to our cars and looked inside, from that point on, they just chilled no more than about 12ft away from our cars. but i guess it was when i arrived back to Tapioca Express where they realized it was our cars. So feelin pretty sketched i finish eating real quick, and i go outside to chill and watch our cars, these guys are still there, and i noticed there was a CHARCOAL GREY EG WITH A RED FRONT END, (bumper, fenders, maybe hood was red) driving around, spotted him a few times. Then i see these 2 guys chillin in the same spot, on their phones. (for those of you who are familiar with the area) they walk off towards 3rd St. once they walk off, exiting from The Hat, i notice the EG turn onto 2nd St. seconds later the 2 hispanic males walk towards 2nd St. they give our cars a quick eyeball as they walk past and got scooped up by the EG a lil further down the street. I figured they knew we were on to them because once they got into the car, they turned around and left, it was only until then, when i finally realized we got scoped out pretty nasty, so guys please watch out for your cars tonight. The holidays are comning and my guess is that thieves are workin hard
Thankfully nothing happend to us or our cars but hopefully this will keep some your guard up more than usual. fck theives!
Also this isn't the 1st time i've seen this car around, i was eating at the In n Out on Huntington and Garfield about a month ago, and i remember seeing the same car CHARCOAL GREY EG WITH A RED FRONT END, (bumper, fenders, maybe hood was red) he's also on a set of either 16'' or 17'' hyper black wheels with a chrome lip
sorry didnt get any plate #'s but the description is pretty easy

yo man ... i think i have seen this car before... my girls goes to school at Cal State La....
im not saying for sure... but i do remember seeing a EG... same color you had said and seeing something red in the front, bumper and fenders i think... with black faces wheels and a chrome lip ......
i had seen the car around Huntington dr.. close to eastern ....
if i remember right, they where turning into a street called vanhorn or something like that...
i could be wrong man.... dont take my word on it... But i do remember seeing a car like that.....

I [freak]ing hate thieves!!! I just picked up a stock eg hatch, and im paranoid already about thieves scoopin her up. Its just not safe anymore for Honda's especially if you aint got an alarm or quick release... Stay safe Boba

Same here... I've had people scope out my car and when I go up to them to ask them "whats up" all they say is "you have a nice car" and give me props... But your right, You can never be to safe...
