THE RSM DOESN'T WORK!!!! I finally got around to hooking it up, and sure enough, it doesn't even power up!! I have tried cutting the wiring back right up to the unit to see if there was a break in the wiring somewhere, but that didn't work. I have tried two different batteries, hooking the power and ground of the RSM directly to them. The thing is completely broken.

I havent been on HT because im not even in the scene anymore or do I buy/sell parts on here.
I bought that/traded my Mugen mr5s for other items plus that RSM from a user named "reylovesjen." I have never owned or even used a RSM but the other items he included worked fine and he told me that it worked fine in his civic and that the other wire or something on the side needed to be there for it to work or something of the sort.
So I sold the RSM stating that it might need that wire and I sold it for cheap. I have no idea if it needed it to work or not, just wanted to protect myself if the buyer complains. ebp_dc2 claims it doesnt need that wire and that it doesnt work. I still dunno if it needs that wire or if it doesnt, just like I said before.
I contacted reylovesjen and here's how it goes...

I only come on here to sell the last of my parts off my dc2.
I sold you that RSM awhile ago. If you had any problem with it before I wouldve easily gave you a refund. I aint friggin COSTCO. I dont take **** back thats been months. I dont know if its just some other unit or anything like that even.
Does anyone on this board disagree? I checked my paypal and the money was sent Mar. 27, 2007. Its been almost 3 months.

(6:11 PM 6/18/2007) reylovesjen: i said it work, but haven't used for awhile. i gave you a good deal...they were in my closet for a year or less before i handed them to you...i haven't test them out then. but like i said they worked before they came out of my car.

question is...am really responsible for this mess AFTER HANDING IT TO YOU ABOUT A YEAR AGO?

I never said you were fully responsible. DID I? And it hasnt been a year, it was back in december or even january, so dont be saying it was a year ago.
Dont get all defensive and deny all of it. Lets see the facts. You claim that it worked when you took it out of your car, but that could easily be a excuse. I can also claim that an item worked when it was in my car even if it was broken at the time of the sale.
The reason why I bring you into any of this is because, YOU SAID IT WORKED. So of course im going to tell someone else that it worked. You also said it needed an extra wire to power it up. I trusted what you said and since I didnt have that wire, I didnt bother testing it out. Makes sense???

wow! i told you that it was working when i took it out of my car. and i also said that it's been sitting around for awhile. we should have done a test on it. you should have tested it out before mailing it out. the condition were mint on the outside. i trully don't know what to say. i don't know who to blame. and i said a year ago because it's been so long already and now you're just bringing it up on my attention?...i don't really know what to say. you gave each other a favor. and i really appreciate it...but i don't know if i should be responsible for this.
