Ever heard of bucketbilt industries?
I need a tranny and they are saying its fully rebuilt GSR with warranty for $750. I just hope its not Honda-Acura-Specialists(HAS) in disguise.

I have. It resides in SoCal. I have bought two trans from them, and from my experience, it was the best. My first tranny was for an 01 Integra, and my second was for an RSX type S. The main person who does the tranny work is a chick. And I know a lot of people stereotype, but she knows what shes talking about, and whenever I have questions about any kind of tranny, she is who I call. At first I thought that she was overpriced, but in fact she is super cheap, and she only uses the best kind of parts. if you look up the parts that she uses, she is basically giving you an 1100-1500 tranny for like two thirds of the price. sometimes if the tranny doesnt even need to be rebuilt, she'll tell you and then give you a different quote for just the replacement parts. She even ships out trans if you live out of state. She also guarantees her work. If there are any problems at all, you just give it back to her, and she replaces anything and everything thats not working properly. I have never had better service. She is awesome. Just tell her exactly whats wrong with it and 90% of the time she can give you a diagnosis and quote over the phone. And plus, who wouldn't want a chick working on there tranny. Its f***ing sexy as hell. Give her a buzz. Ask for Tiprin. And dont try to low ball her. Shes giving the best deal out there. TRUST ME!

I went to this girls house and she charged my friend 150 to fix his gsr trans that didn't have 5th or reverse. She explained everything and did it in two hours. Saved him 700 bucks. I would go to her again any time. Gorgeous girl and professional work... and her shop is extremely clean.

Re: Ever heard of bucketbilt industries?
hahaha so I got bored and did a quick search on this place and the owner, owner is a chick and she isn't a bad looking girl. that's pretty crazy haha. looks like she rocks that pinup girl style. lol. 750 not bad for no core, or you could just buy a b16/gsr. Spoka is drop dead gorgeous though, so his looks make up for the third gear grind. :sexy:
