Stock LS valvetrain can't hold up to stock LS cams. True story.
Uhm, the general rule of thumb is you can run a somewhat bigger cam on stock valvetrain, you just can't rev it past stock... however 402 and 402T is a high lift short duration cam, and I worry about all that lift. Best thing I can recommend is installing them and checking for coil bind, if you have none then rev them out to 6500 ot 7K if you are feeling sassy. You'll pick up power across the powerband from idle to revlimit.
