Speedmaster Esses
I got these rims from Alex @ efzero. They are pretty sweet and I love taking those 90* turns at 50. Anyhoo, I opted for 205/50/15's with an offset of i believe, +43. I put them on with some hub rings and this is what they look like...
For stats, they are 5kg rims.
4x100
flat black
When I first put them on, I was like "damn, these bitches are hella flush. no more dropping for me. I barely clear...Anyways...I wanted opinions...these are 205 tires. Should I have gone with 195's instead? They are real flush on the rear side, but near the side skirts they stick out a lil..not much tho.

azenis are cool......if u do spirited driving.. if not.. no need for a tire that big or a tire with that low of a treadwear..

Re: Speedmaster Esses (all stock)
I don't see a problem at all with the 205s. If you feel the they stick out too much for you taste, get a lower offset, but then more then likely you will have to get 195s. I would prefer the 205s over the 195s, I want as much surface area as possible.
Aren't hub rings the same as spacers, if so remove those to get the wheels a bit more flush.

Re: Speedmaster Esses (all stock)
man...those are some dope *** rims!!! i'm getting something similar soon i hope...if i get a chance to raise enough $$$ for 'em. i don't know if i'd use azenis though...they are the heaviest tire in the market right now...even though they have been discontinued. prolly gonna go with the kumho ecsta or something... your rims...

Re: Speedmaster Esses (all stock)
I thought the black speedmaster wheels were +40 offset
your car looks really good from what i can tell.
any full pics of the car??
I believe the lower the offset number the wider the rims stick out and then the greater the traction.
You got a great deal, 700 bucks with Azeni's WOW!

I think they look good on there. The wider tire looks more aggressive, and fills in the wheel well completely

Re: Speedmaster Esses (SHAUNTS99)
Hub rings or Hubcentric rings are not spacers but rather a "centering ring" that correctly centers the rims on the hub such that the stresses/forces are distributed evenly on the studs and lug nuts...Most wheel manufacturers will include these with the rims. They should not be dismissed. I will try to find more info and put it up later in the day.

Re: Speedmaster Esses (Carlo)
Thanks for all the input guys. I think i'ma keep it like this. i actually had some 195's on my old tires. I had some OLD sku crx si alloy's. 195/60/14. crappy *** tires and the wall sucked some major ***. although the tires were bald as hell too, the falkens were still lighter [i think because of the rims...the tires are heavy...but that shouldn't last too long...[i.e. less tread, less weight].

what suspension do you have right now? are you gutted at all? might as well let the people know...it would suck to buy all the stuff and it not fit together.

i couldn't agree more, though. azenis' aren't worth it if you aren't gonna bash on em.

Re: Speedmaster Esses (vivid02)
Time for MTK to hate tires too. LOL
I think you rims look great as well as the tires.

im just saying i think its funny when people put those on their car when they dont USE them.. its a big tire and it doesnt allow you to get that "nice drop" that most honda guys want.. i used to say it back in the days when people would post their show cars with Advan tires.. same thing here.. azenis dont last very long and they look big on hondas.. so its a waste of money to buy them for "regular" driving only..
