92 prelude questions
Ok I just got a 92 prelude. The motor has been swaped to a F22B1. It's not getting power back to the fuel pump. The pump is good after bench testing it. The car is also not getting spark. Could this be a ignition control module/ distributor problem? And the head is messed up. 3 out of 4 spark plugs have fallen through their holes and almost touching the pistons. Not sure if that's repairable or not. Just looking for some input

Re: 92 prelude questions
The electrical issues could be many things, I would start with main relay for the fuel pump issue, and grounds for the engine issue.
On the head, that does not sound replaceable to me. If you had stripped the threads, it could be helicoiled, but if the plugs have fallen through, that is BAD. I would just look for another F22 or an H23 or H22 to swap in.

Re: 92 prelude questions
Tested the main relay and it is good. No power is coming back to the fuel pump plug in. Tested the fuse panel where the fuel pump fuse is and it is getting power. I've came to the conclusion that the head is shot. Gonna find another f22b1 head and put back on it. The car was running a few weeks back and it seem to have plenty of power. The PO put a new alternator on it and that is when all the electrical problems began. The swap in this car was not very neat with the wiring. No sure what Motor is suppose to be in this car from the factory but it has to have a different wiring harness or a butchered stock harness. It's a 92 prelude SI
