New to the Tuner World
Ive been considering purchasing a honda prelude between the years of 1998-2001 because i like the body still and the way they sit so low to the ground. My ex use to drive a 99 that was all stock and i drove hers a few times and pushed the cars to its limits in my locally known road that racers usually go out to. its a pretty dangerous road to drive for drivers with little experience but I've been driving for awhile so i know how to push a car to its top abilities. her car handled well and was taking the corners on average at 70-75 mph when the speed limit here is only 35 mph. I've owned a honda civic hatchback that had a turbo charged Si engine swap so I'm familiar with the Si Engine and its capabilities. I was curious as to if it was possible to swap an Si engine into a 1998 Prelude and if that would be the faster engine swap to make or if there is a better engine i should swap to that will give me more power in this car. Mind you my intention for any swap is to turbo charge it, put a new intake in it, swap headers, the works. Please give me any info and feedback u can because i want to build this car to have power and maintain the handling since the car sits so close to the ground. Thank you all.

I think you have a lot of research to do, and maybe not go 75 in a 35. Anyhow saying "SI engine" is sort of vague since different generations used different "SI engines" and if you're unsure of what engine you have you probably shouldn't be trying to turbo it and "swap headers" after research there are a lot of people here who can give you exact details once you have an understanding of what you want to do. Best of luck
