Worth changing from 8'' rim to 10''?
I currently have v2 rims that are 8'' wide...is it worth changing to a diff wheel that's 10'' wide? my slicks are 24.5x9x13....would going with a wider rim help with 60's/330 at all?
any input would be great

What is your setup? A wider rim will typically give you a better contact patch, but that won't help if you can't shift or if the car is underpowered or etc....etc...
So details are nice.

2.0l lsvtec, 6766 t4,pro 1's, up pipe... 670whp 99 si.. its not the driving part...I am just wondering if its worth the money to get wider rims....I see a lot of people with the 10'' rims rather then 8''...that's why I am curious

You could benefit from a 9" wheel if it came down to it. You will see better 60' times as a result of having a much wider contact patch. With that being said you still have to determine what boost level is best for your launching.

Don't think you will I see people run the 9's and 10's with oem front ends but you will have to run a spacer 5mm and raise the car so you don't cut your slicks when you break at the end of the track. I cut mine pretty good my first time. Luckily it was in the side and not the front.
