Need advice or the right tool
I need to replace my ball joints. I have to do them myself in a parking lot. I cant take off the main hub and bring it to a shop like I did last time and have them press them out and press new ones in.
Is there a tool out there that I can get to press them out, and new ones in.

No, that will help you pop the ball joints instead of wacking them with a hammer, tie rod tool will do the same...

ah crap my bad, I had bushings on the mind.. the machine press I posted is for pressing out bushings, not ball joints, those 2 above will do ball joints. Hope I didn't confuse anyone.

Take the spindle out of the car. Remove the old joint via large hammer...a press is futile. Make sure there isnt a C clip holding it in before you start beating it out. Aftermarket joints have C clips. Hit the stud side...the joint comes out moving upward.
Install is done via an autozone ball joint press (free rental).
Tips: buy a ball joint popper tool to seperate the joints from the control arms...don't use a pickle fork on the other joints that you plan to keep on the car.
