Like the title states has anyone used the drag radiator in there car not only for drag racing at the track but on the street aswell? I just want to know how the cars temperature holds up compared to a half size eg radiator? Thanks in advance. ...

Have you tried contacting them directly? In my dealings with them, I have found that they are quite helpful when you contact them about there product. Let them know your set-up and your use for the car and they will point you in the right direction. I am not associated with Speedfactory other than being a long time customer. Email or call them and I'm sure they will be glad to answer your questions.

If my memory serves me correctly, they told me that it will work on street cars. But I'm sure it depends where u live. Hotter states like Florida if u daily it in a turbocharge application, I'm not sure if it can handle it.

Says right on there website it is designed for street cars aswell and is more efficient than a half sized stock rad

i have it on my race car and have never had a cooling problem. its never seen the street bu its seen 100+ degree texas heat with not so cool burning fuel and never went above like 180 on the return road.

I have one on my car and i took my car out on the street the other night and temp was perfectly fine.

Bump thanks for all the feed back... looks like imma have to go with that radiator... and you guys that commented above, do you guys have the shroud and fan combo they offer or you guys put your own on?

I know this is an old thread but has anyone else used this radiator with luck on the street? I'm having a hell of a time keeping my turbo B16 sub 200 with the bumper on.

Fluidyne half radiator
Oem thermostat
S300 set to 185f

The radiator is slightly clocked towards the headlight because of the compressor housing and I think that's what's causing thr overheating. The SF is narrow enough that I could face it foward. All help is appreciated.
