What is this hole? '97 Integra LS

The motor is a '97 Integra LS in my '96 civic hatchback. I am leaking oil somewhere and trying to diagnose it, and I found this hole with a little pool of oil sitting beneath it on the transmission. Does anybody know what this hole is for?
It sits right below the thermostat, and just above the bell housing for the transmission. Anybody know? Thanks.

Try taking that picture again, but this time focus on the hole you're talking about, not the hose above it. The hole, and everything around it, is blurred to ****. Is it internally threaded, or smooth? Does anything come out of the hole with the car running?

Sorry its a pain in the D to get my phone in there, i'll take a better pic. The hole is threaded, and I'm not sure if anything comes out but i'll check

I'll have to double check my FSM and the parts catalog when I get off work tonight. I also have the same motor sitting in my bedroom right now, so if the FSM and parts catalog aren't clear, I'll just look at my motor and see what's there.
My raw guess right now is that it's a mounting hole...but that really is a raw guess at this point.

"That hole right there is for da integra automatic transmission bell housing only 90-93 acura integra."
Just found this out from someone. Sounds like a reasonable answer.
My thermostat is definitely leaking (someone pointed out in pic), so that's where some of the fluid is coming from. I'm also starting to believe my transmission is leaking...fml
