If you want to bore out the factory throttle body send it to these guys: http://www.maxbore.com/ I don't think the performance advantage will be worth it but it's your money.

That looks like corrosive damage on the bearings. It also looks like you aren't even trying to keep them clean. Bearings are seriously the absolute most important thing to take care of before and during assembly - leave them in their plastic wrap until you're ready to drop the crank on them and torque them down.

yes it is my 3rd block 1st one water pump bolts snapped in it tried to drill out extractor broke off in the 1st one tried drillen second one drill bit broke off in the bolt so i got a new block didnt have it honed before i put it together cause i believed the kid that said it was honed before i bought it see how far that got me.got a new b18b1 block for free from my friend that had pistons still in it took it apart then took it to machine shop honed and cleaned and got a completely different mint ls head and had all my **** switched to a head that didnt have the inside machined down like my old one did
if you look at the one on the left at the top you can clearly see how its grinded down and my teacher didnt like that and niether did i so that why i got the new head and switched it all

Get the book. What the hell kind of Mickey Mouse operation of a school are you going to? I hope you don't plan on putting them on a job application, because you aren't learning a damn thing from them.
