1996 Civic radiator fan problems
Hello, coming home the other night in my 96 civic d16y8. Its a built turbo blah blah. Any ways it overheated in bad traffic. I caught it early no problems. I tested the radiator fan. I jumped it with some wire below the distributor and nothing came on. Also wired the radiator fan motor plug to the battery and couldnt get it to come on. I figured bad motor.
Heres my question. I have a mishimoto radiator and guessing fan/motor. I need to replace the motor of the fan. I see how it unbolts and and thats not hard. Its a flim fan. So do I need a specialty motor? Or can I just get one from a parts store? Thanks for the help!
